Replay asparagus: a tragedy in green (and how to avoid it)
You step through an ornate wooden doorway and find yourself in a cozy, mystical chamber. Soft blue light emanates from glowing potion bottles on ancient shelves. Stars twinkle against a midnight ceiling. Scrolls and books with secrets waiting to be discovered are nestled in every corner. A magical bottle pulses with energy, inviting you to explore further...
Surprise! You're experiencing the next generation of "replay"—an interactive digital space where learning continues long after the workshop ends.
Here's the story: I had a choice to make over the weekend. I'd done a workshop for the Expo, and people were asking for the replay. I always want to give it to people, but then I see how many people actually watch them.
We all know how replays usually go. They're like that asparagus you bought with the best intentions, but forgot in the back of your fridge. Sounds good in theory, rarely consumed in practice.
I decided to try something different this time.
Behold.
Instead of just sending another link destined for the digital equivalent of the forgotten vegetable drawer, I created an entire interactive Resource Library—a space where the "Getting People to Your GoBrunch Rooms" workshop lives on in multiple forms.
In this space, you'll find the recordings, a PDF of key moments, and even a bot you can ask about the content. Spinning Dragon, my ninja assistant, will answer whatever questions you have.
There are Easter eggs scattered throughout—because who doesn't love a good treasure hunt? Find my three secrets for getting people to your event.
I'm asking you to take a look, even if you aren't super interested in the topic. Because this room isn't just a one-time thing for Expo attendees.
I'm adding it to my permanent collection of lead magnets. It's an evergreen learning experience, designed for different learning styles. And it's always available.
