New spells cast in the chamber of GPT secrets...

There's been some delightful news in the AI world this week, particularly from the folks at GPT. They made an announcement on Monday that previewed several seemingly magical functions.

The upshot is that the new version of GPT (called GPTo) is going to be what we all hoped Siri would be a few years ago. You know, ask a question and actually get an answer?

The announcement showed a lot of advancements in Human Computer Interaction. Translating spoken languages, helping solve algebra equations, etc. Overall, it looks interesting - but not available at large quite yet.

Speaking of availability, now the paid features (like generating images) are available to everyone. The only difference between free and paid accounts is that free accounts get less interactions before getting temporarily cut off.
